On this auspicious day, Trinidad devotees are blessed to see the dawn of the new Trinidad Hanuman Datta Mala ("THDM")—this time in online mode!  Only with the Grace of our beloved Sadguru Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, (“Sri Swamiji") and blessings of Pujya Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji, ("Sri Bala Swamiji") can such a miraculous, Dharmic re-birth occur, in such a timely way! Pujya Sri Swamiji, who is the incarnation of the Trinity, Sri Dattatreya, knows what to gift, to whom, when and how!

Why miraculous and timely? We are all fully aware of the pathetic state of our country that Sri Swamiji had called “Ramayana country.”  However, first, let us recall fond memories of 2004, when, on Rama Navami also then, Sri Swamiji felt that Trinidad needed its own ‘Bhakti Mala’, (online magazine from Mysore Ashram),  which He called "Trinidad HanumanDatta Mala".  

 

“You must learn, participate, spread knowledge, new bhajans, new teachings, new photos, latest lectures of Sri Swamiji….Give support in your Grandma’s name, on your child’s birthday, if you have a wedding, or new house.  It is our duty to propagate Swamiji, create awareness in more and more families….This is Kali Yuga.  I told last year the whole world suffering, not only in Trinidad.  So more and more pray to Hanuman.  Hanuman is the weapon to get good shakti and good vibration.  Many countries are suffering; people are getting more and more crazy.  New diseases, new confusions….”

 

Now, through His Grace and compassion, this year also, Sri Swamiji sent Sri Bala Swamiji to join us in our  Rama Navami Celebration, for the Hanuman Day of Prayer on April 13th!  And what a visit — one that has inspired more devotion in our younger generation especially!  They are the ones who would need most the courage, service-mindedness, devotion, strength and wisdom, embodied by Hanuman!  Definitely THDM online magazine could not have come at a better time!

 

We offer all the articles contained herein, as a mala of fragrant flowers, to our Pujya Sri Swamiji, praying that all readers/devotees would not only enjoy, but imbibe every word in our hearts and minds! May we practise these spiritual truths, with true surrender, in our daily lives, like Sri Hanuman who has enshrined Sri Rama in His heart! Sri Guru Datta! Jaya Sri Rama! Jaya Hanuman!
